Below is a brief profile of each team member and their credentials.
Benjamin Tabolt, President
Benjamin is a 2008 graduate of Syracuse University. He has in-depth
experience in both commercial and residential design. He has worked with
numerous companies in a number of positions including Project Architect,
Project Manager, Construction Manager and BIM Manager. Ben has
successfully customized Revit Software for multiple companies and has
completed many design projects using BIM technology. His passion is to
support individuals and companies in using the latest technologies available
to create the best possible project solutions.
Jordan Cox, Associate Designer
Jordan is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Architecture
and Interior Architecture. She has experience in commercial, institutional,
and residential design in New York, the UK, and DC before moving to
Colorado in 2014. With certifications in both Revit and CAD, Jordan is
well-versed in using technology to aid holistic building design.
Jennifer Mencl, Associate Designer
Jennifer is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Interior
Architecture and Product Design. She began her career in Colorado's
Vail Valley gaining experience in both residential and commercial mountain
architecture before moving to Colorado Springs in 2015. Holding a certification
in Revit, Jennifer is an experienced BIM designer.
Aubrey Roderick, Associate Designer
Aubrey joined the CDGPS team after working in commercial, civic, and residential design in Boulder, CO. She holds a BFA of Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and is also skilled in portrait drawing.
Mark Tremmel, AIA, LEED AP, Founding Partner
Mark Tremmel is an Architect and LEED AP with over 30 years of
experience in the industry. He founded the Tremmel Design Group, a firm
dedicated to “green” architecture, and co-founded the Collaborative Design
Group that specializes in sustainable community planning. Tremmel served
as the ‘Town Architect’ for one of the first ‘New Urbanist Neighborhoods’ in
Colorado Springs. His recent work includes a national planning award for
downtown Castle Rock, energy saving projects for Colorado Springs Utilities,
and Architect for Ruggles Green Restaurants, the Greenest Restaurants
in the USA.
Larry Gilland, LEED AP, Founding Partner
A respected community leader, Larry Gilland has been a consistent
name for over 30 years among designers and architects who design for
the top Colorado Springs and national production and custom home
builders, as well as private clients. Owning his own architectural design
company since 1982, his projects include homes designed for the exclusive
Summit County, Beaver Creek and Colorado Springs resort communities,
Salida and Buena Vista, Colorado, as well as Scottsdale, AZ, Ambergris Key
Belize, and work on a hospital clinic in Nigeria. His work has been published
in several industry publications and he continues to be involved in Green
and Sustainable Design.
